Working from her atelier in Tokyo, Kana Urbanowicz creates unique illustrations, animations, comics, and other digital and hand-painted works. In 2017, she turned to a freelance career, taking advantage of ten years of experience as a full-time illustrator.

Her book "Magic Ramen" has been highly praised by:

"Junior Library Guild," "CSMSL Best Books of 2019," "Freeman Books Award Children's Literature 2019," and more. 

東京都出身。漫画、イラストレーション、アニメーションなどを手がけるクリエイター。漫画や絵本、書籍の装画、アニメーションステッカー、キャラクターデザインなどを手がける他、オリジナル作品も多数。

絵本『Magic Ramen』（Little Bee Books刊）が「Junior Library Guid」「CSMCL Best Books of 2019」「Freeman Book Awards Children’s Literature 2019」などを受賞。

Google、Appleなど海外の仕事も多く手がけている。

2022年7月に初の個人書籍「ぽんこさんの暮らしのはてな？」、2023年1月には「日月十譚」が発売され、現在はトーチwebにて江戸市中の暮らしを描く漫画「まめで四角でやわらかで」を連載中。
